Our meetings are run in a relaxed and supportive environment offering members the opportunity to develop effective communication and leadership skills that can be transferred to every day life.<\/p>\n<p>At Toastmasters meetings, members learn by speaking to the group and working with each other in a supportive environment. Each meeting gives everyone an opportunity to practice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Conducting meetings &#8211; <\/strong>Meetings usually begin with a short business session which helps members learn basic meeting procedures.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Giving impromptu speeches &#8211; <\/strong>Members present one-to two-minute impromptu speeches on assigned topics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Presenting prepared speeches &#8211; <\/strong>Two or more members present speeches based on projects from the Toastmasters International <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/navantoastmasters.com\/wordpress\/pathways-resources\/pathways-overview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pathways<\/a><\/strong> Programme.\u00a0 Pathways is designed to help you build the competencies you need to communicate and lead.
